Major: Graphic Design

Minor: Studio Art

Why did you choose your major at Lasell?
I did graphic design in high school and absolutely loved it. I like creating things that serve a purpose in society in a beneficial and creative way; whether that means promoting a business, product or a person.

What was it that brought you to Lasell?
I love the small class sizes and the community that has been built at Lasell. I have the opportunity to get to know my professors as an individual and they get to know me.

What activities are you involved in or have been involved in (clubs, activities, athletics, etc.)?
I am the president of the Graphic Design League, Associate Art Director of POLISHED Magazine, a Resident Assistant and Graphic Designer for the radio.

Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
I have enjoyed the Graphic Design History course I am taking this semester because I get to learn about those who have been successful in my field and how they got there. The different movement that have occurred are something that I get to learn from and use as inspiration for future projects.

What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
I like to take adventures around Boston to walk around, take pictures, stop at food trucks and find smaller business like bookstores that are hidden from the normal tourism.

Do you have an interesting story or great memory from Lasell?
The small campus size has guided me to finding the friends I have. I met one of my friends at orientation and she ended up living in the same building as me. I made friends with her roommate and then made friends with room next door and it all bloomed from there. I believe I have made true friendships while at Lasell and look forward to what or whomever may come next.
