Information Technology

The Information Technology degree program is rooted in Connected Learning, requires students to gain at least one internship within a technology firm, and provides students with industry certifications and badges.

The program provides three pathways for students to apply a Bachelor in Information Technology to their fields of study and expand their careers:

1. Major in Information Technology (IT Major / IT Degree):

The Information Technology major has two areas of concentrations:

Each concentration is rooted in skill-based learning and prepares students to be market ready upon graduation.

2. Minor in Information Technology:

Students from other majors at Lasell have the opportunity to minor in Data Analytics and Cybersecurity to further distinguish themselves in the marketplace.  For example, Fashion Design and Production, Finance, or Sport Management Majors can minor in Data Analytics to gain a deeper understanding of trends and analysis.

3. Selected Courses in Technology:

Students may choose a selection of courses within any area of concentration within the Information Technology program.
