Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission to Lasell College's Nutrition for Human Performance graduate degree program must hold a bachelor's degree from a BS in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Health and Human Performance, or equivalent degree program OR a Bachelor's degree in any field with the following course work passed with a "C" grade or better.

GRE/GMAT scores are not required for admission.  The TOEFL may be waived for international applicants who have earned a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. All other applicants must submit a TOEFL/IELTS score.

Admission Requirements Checklist:

  1. Online application
  2. Official transcripts of all college-level coursework *
  3. B.A./B.S. in health related field from an accredited institution
  4. Two professional letters of recommendation from either faculty or employers
  5. A one page personal statement describing your goals, strengths and potential for achievement in graduate school
  6. Minimum GPA of 2.75
  7. 2 courses in Anatomy & Physiology (8 credits), 1 course in Exercise Physiology (including lab) or 1 course in Chemistry (including lab) (4 credits), 1 course in Nutrition (3 credits), and Statistics (3 credits)
  8. Resume

A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is recommended for recent college graduates with fewer than 3 years of professional work experience.*
