Lasell's Alternative Spring Break Trip is a week-long community service experience run by Lasell staff and students. Each year, the CCBL chooses a new location within the United States and a contemporary social problem. Students volunteer and attend workshops at community organizations to learn about life in another part of our country. Past trips have brought students to Las Vegas, Washington D.C., Chicago, and more, working to assist homeless youth, aid in hunger awareness, and provide support and advocacy for HIV/AIDS patients.
We believe that students should have access to this opportunity if they wish, and for that reason, we keep the student fee very low. The students commit to fundraising to cover trip expenses. Please consider supporting the students' transportation, housing and meal expenses. On behalf of the students, thank you for making this experience possible. Any amount is appreciated and the support of family and friends is crucial to sustaining Lasell's Alternative Spring Break each year.
