Important Financial Aid Dates for Transfer Students 2013-14
For Spring 2013 Enrollment:
November, 2012 Add Lasell's school code - 002158 - to FAFSA or complete the FAFSA if you never did one for 2012-13.
November, 2012 Signed copies of 2011 Federal Tax Transcripts (for student and parent) and copies of all W-2 forms due in Office of Student Financial Planning.
As soon as an admitted transfer student's file is complete with the Office of Student Financial Planning, an award letter will be mailed to the student. Any missing items or documents needed to complete the application process will be noted on this letter and must be completed prior to the student enrolling in the spring term.
January 13, 2013 Deadline for all other paperwork (loan applications, and other documents as requested). If students plan on taking advantage of either the Federal Direct PLUS loan or a private student loan, those applications must be complete prior to the first day of class for the spring term in order for the student to be given credit toward their bill. Start these applications as soon as possible as they can take up to a month to complete in many cases.
For September 2013 Enrollment:
Complete the 13-14 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, include Lasell's college code 002158 on the FAFSA. If you are admitted to Lasell College and we have the results of your successfully completed FAFSA we will send an award letter beginning in mid-February on a rolling basis.
