Class Giving Challenge
In 2009, the Alumni Office and Office of Student Affairs launched the first undergraduate Class Giving Challenge. Lasell's freshman class at the time, the class of 2012, won the challenge with the highest rate of participation. Today, the challenge continues to get all 4 classes involved with fundraising through this month long competition. Each year, the challenge runs the month of February and the winning class gets their class year engraved on a plaque in the Student Activities office. All funds go to the Lasell Fund, the College's highest fundraising priority. To learn more about the Lasell Fund, click here.

Senior Class Gift
The Senior Class Gift is a student run campaign where, through the Lasell Fund, current seniors raise money for the benefit of future students. The purpose of the Senior Class Gift is to generate school spirit, class pride and establish a culture of philanthropy and giving back to Lasell as seniors transition from students to alumni.

The Senior Class Gift committee brings gift ideas to the class as a whole, secures gifts and increases class participation through specially developed fundraising strategies. This gift is made in support of The Lasell Fund through choosing a project or item planned for in the operating budget during the current academic year.

Senior Class Gift history

2011 - The Class of 2011 gave a 24 hour print station located in Glow Lounge of the Winslow Academic Center.

2010 – The Class of 2010 decided to not give a specific item but rather give a gift to the Lasell Fund, helping to support the current operating budget for that year.

2009 – The Class of 2009 chose to fund a landscaping project on campus inclusive of a permanent bench and plantings.

2008 – The Senior Class of 2008 decided not to choose a specific item but instead chose to make a gift in honor of a Lasell faculty or staff member who has made an impact on his/her Lasell experience.  The Lasell Fund Office sent that faculty or staff member a note letting that person(s) know a gift was made by the student in their honor.

2007 - The Class of 2007 Senior Gift was dedicated in memory of Kevin Flaherty, a member of the Class of 2007 who died tragically in the fall of 2006. The Flaherty family has established a student fund into which Class of 2007 gifts go.
