The Lasell Fund

To better deliver the critically important message of supporting the College, we have renamed our Annual Fund program The Lasell Fund.  Through The Lasell Fund, the opportunity to direct yearly contributions to specific areas of the College continues, while the message found in the new title makes unequivocal what this program supports.  Gifts to The Lasell Fund support the Lasell community - the students, the faculty, the College itself.

Gifts to The Lasell Fund support current-year academic and extracurricular programs. This fundraising effort is a key component of Lasell's financial health and well-being, raising nearly $1 million annually for student programs.

Gifts you make to Lasell have an immediate impact on student programs such as:

  • Academic programs
    Financial support for classroom resources and educational materials are crucial to students pursuing a Lasell education.
  • Library resources
    Your gift enables the Brennan Library to expand its technological resources and collections.
  • Scholarships
    Over 90 percent of Lasell's students receive financial support from the College. Gifts to The Lasell Fund play an important role in providing so many students with scholarship aid.
  • Athletic programs
    Gifts to The Lasell Fund enable Lasell to offer a variety of athletic programs, with appropriate facilities, which are a significant part of many Lasell students' College experiences.
  • Campus Life
    This vibrant and beautiful campus enhances the learning experience. Lasell Fund gifts are transformational, making campus life exciting, and building a sense of pride and ownership among the enture College community.

Lasell Fashion Collection Highlighted on WGBH's Greater Boston  Tuesday, June 11, 2013The Lasell Fashion Collection, with holdings ranging from the 1800s to current designs, was featured on WGBH TV's Greater Boston show on June 10. The show's arts reporter Jared Bowen interviewed Lasell Fashion Professor Jill Carey, who is also the curator for the collection.
