Endowed Funds

Scholarships play a critical role in the education of Lasell’s students with more than 90% receiving aid from the College.

Endowed funds are given by alumni and friends of Lasell College in the form of major gift donations. These gifts become part of the College’s endowment investment strategy and provide income used for need-based financial aid programs.

Students are automatically considered for these scholarship awards when they apply for financial aid;  eliminating the need to apply for particular named scholarships that include specific qualifications (such as where a student is from or whether the student achieved a certain grade-point average in high school.)

Scholarships are given at the discretion of the Office of Student Financial Planning and the Office of Institutional Advancement.

For a full listing of named scholarships at Lasell College, and their descriptions, please review the Course Catalog listing of scholarships.

If you are interested in establishing a named scholarship for Lasell students, the minimum gift required is $50,000 which can be paid over a number of years.  However, named scholarship funds cannot be dispersed to students until the scholarship fund agreement is fully funded by the donor.
