Stefany Shaheen to Discuss Women in Public Life for Women’s History Month

In honor of Women's History Month, Lasell College will host a talk by Stefany Shaheen, daughter of N.H.'s U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, in Yamawaki Auditorium to discuss the role of women in public life.

Shaheen, who previously was chair of the New Hampshire Commission on the Status of Women, has become a public figure in her own right. She will discuss her vision for women in politics and growing up in a political family along with her teenage daughters Elle and Annah,

The Shaheens talk is scheduled for March 9 in Yamawaki Auditorium at 6:30pm. A light dinner will be provided.

The event is sponsored by the Donahue Institute for Values and Public Life and the RoseMary B. Fuss Center for Research on Aging and Intergenerational Studies.
