State of Emergency

August 27, 2011

A State of Emergency has been declared by Governor Patrick for the State of Massachusetts for the weekend and it has been requested that all non-essential personnel remain indoors and off of the roads on Sunday. In accordance with this Lasell College is advising all residents on campus that they should "Shelter in Place". The conditions created by the storm will most certainly cause numerous downed trees and power outages which will create substantial hazards. You should not leave your residence hall except in the case of an emergency. If for some reason you need to leave you should contact Campus Police at 617-243-2279 and they will assist you in any way that they can. If for some reason you find yourself outside please avoid any downed trees because they may have live power lines tangled in them.
