Recollection of Illusion “pop-up” Exhibition at Lasell

May 23, 2016

Recollection of Illusion, a "pop-up" exhibition of work by Boston artist Alexander Zvagin, has opened at Lasell's Wedeman Gallery through May 27.

Zvagin, a Russian-born illustrator and jewelry designer, describes his work as "abstract art depicted around philosophical ideas, surrealistic paintings and interpretive drawings."

The Wedeman Gallery, at the Yamawaki Art and Cultural Center on the Lasell campus, is located at 47 Myrtle Avenue in Auburndale. The Zvagin exhibition is part of the second annual Newton Festival of the Arts (www.newtoncommunitypride.org/festival/), a citywide celebrate featuring some 100 events throughout the spring.
