Lasell Students, Faculty Present at Eastern Psychological Association Annual Meeting

Several Lasell students, professors and alums will make presentations this weekend, March 1-4, at the Eastern Psychological Association annual meeting in New York City.


The student groups will present on a variety of topics throughout the annual meeting including "Current Sexual Attitudes and Sex Education History - What's The Connection," "Talk of Ages: Intergenerational Perspectives on Wisdom," "Rater and Victim Factors Affecting Attributions Toward Women Experiencing Domestic Violence" and "When Private Becomes Public: Attitudes Toward Displays of Affection."

The presenting students Hayden Weltin '14, Jenny Swanson '14, Emily Cooper '14, Brittany Gallant '14, Kelley Pigott '14, Brianna Strunk '13 and Erica Burke '13, will be joined by alums Katelyn Gormley '12 and Nicole Mello '12 were involved with the research.

Professors Sarabeth Golden PhD, Lori Rosenthal PhD, Marsha Mirkin PhD and Director of the RoseMary B. Fuss Center on Aging and Intergenerational Studies, Joann Montepare, PhD. worked with the students on their research and will co-present.
