Lasell Students and Alumni Take an Active Role in Boston Fashion Week

October 3, 2012

More than a dozen Lasell students worked behind the scenes at Boston Fashion Week, which continues through October 6 in downtown Boston. The week encompasses several fashion shows to spotlight local, up-and-coming designers.

Students from Professor Anne Vallely's Visual Merchandising and Internship classes, led by Barbara Wrenn 13', worked directly with Synergy Events, which directed the Emerging Trends show on September 29. Recent alum Erin Tremblay '12 was back stage director for the show.

"Once again our students have been involved in Boston Fashion Week and we are so proud of their work. These students learn so much from the experience and can take it with them long after they graduate," said Vallely.
