Lasell Hosts Economic Forum with Gubernatorial Candidates

Candidates for Massachusetts governor will speak about the role of small business in the economy at an event co-sponsored by Lasell's Small Business Institute and the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce.

The early morning forum will be held April 30 at de Witt Hall on the Lasell campus beginning at 7:30 am. The candidates for Massachusetts governor who have confirmed their attendance include Steve Grossman, Evan Falchuk, Juliette Kayyem, Joseph Avellone, Jeff McCormick and Donald Berwick,

Each of the candidates will speak about the role and impact of small business on the Massachusetts economy and how they will support small businesses.

Following their speeches, the candidates will participate in a question and answer session involving area small business owners and members of the Lasell College community.

Lasell Introduces Cross-Registration Program with Regis College, Expanding on Courses Offered  Monday, March 30, 2015Lasell College will begin a cross-registration program with Regis College this Fall, enabling undergraduate students to enroll in additional courses there at no additional cost. Lasell students will be able to add selected Regis courses to their Lasell schedule starting with pre-registration this April.
