Lasell Gives During the Holiday Season

Tis the season to spread holiday cheer and Lasell staff and students have done their part.

This week Lasell donated holiday stockings for residents at a shelter for young women in Medford - with the hopes of making the holiday season more enjoyable.

Lasell staff and students filled the stockings last week with gifts donated from the College's Athletic Director. Lasell also donated gifts to the shelter last year.

"We're pleased to be able to give to the shelter again this year. We hope it makes someone's holiday a little brighter," said Thomas Sullivan, Director of Lasell's Center for Spiritual Life.

Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
