Lasell Finalizes Partnership Agreement With Letterkenny Institute of Technology

Lasell College and Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) in Ireland have finalized a cross-institution partnership that allows students from both schools to expand their international experiences by traveling abroad and taking courses at each institution.
The partnership offers students in Business, Communication, Education, Graphic Design, Hospitality and Sport Management majors the chance to directly enroll in the Irish university, located in County Donegal, Ireland. The main campus is located in Letterkenny, while a secondary campus is located in Killybegs, where students studying Hospitality and Event Management can enroll. LYIT students will also have the opportunity to travel to Lasell for a semester of study abroad.
Officials from both schools signed documents this week making the partnership official.
"There has been a long-term effort for Letterkenny to build relationships with the Boston area. They were looking for connections with institutions of higher education [like Lasell]," said Lasell President Michael B. Alexander.
