Lasell Fashions In Design Contest Finale

Lasell designer Emily Brennan was among three winners chosen at the Form to Fashion college design competition finale at the Natick Collection. She and Lasell designer Christine Lam were finalists in the competition, which was held June 8.

For the third year in a row, Lasell College fashion students participated in the contest, which began in the Spring with several weeks of displays at the Natick Collection. Form to Fashion involved student designers from Lasell, Mount Ida College, and Framingham State University.

Emily Brennan's Red Sox-themed Believe Collection was chosen as the winner among the Lasell entries. Two other winnders were chosen from the other partiicpating schools.

Christine Lam's designs, based on the human anatomy, were also a part of the finalist competition. Her's and Brennan's designs received the highest number of votes from shoppers at the Natick Collection when Lasell designs were first displayed in March.

The first round of the competition also involved Lasell designers Emilie Boucher, Danielle Gilfillan, Gregory Hugill, Morgan Lagerberg, Dena Leone, Samantha Marquis, Charles Neumann, and Kerith Seitsinger.

Neiman Marcus will showcase the winners'  designs in the display windows at the Natick Collection.
