Lasell alum Sonjia Williams ‘07, who ranked 5th in the design competition on Project Runway Season 10, returns to the Lifetime Television show October 30 for the new season of Project Runway All Stars.

"I can't wait for everyone else to watch [the show] and see my work because I'm super proud of it," said Williams.

The All Stars show features 14 designers from past shows, including previous winners, who will compete in weekly design challenges. Their designs will be judged by designer Isaac Mizrahi and Marchesa's Georgina Chapman. The show is hosted by actress Alyssa Milano.

"We are so excited to once again cheer for Sonjia and celebrate her invitation to Project Runway All Stars," said Lynn Blake, chair of the Fashion Department, who added that a viewing party is being planned on campus for the first night of the new season.

"This is a true testament to her distinguished sense of style, sound skill base and celebrated success and as a fashion designer."

The winner of "Project Runway All Stars" will be given the ultimate in prize packaging, which includes the chance to create their own capsule collection with QVC and appear during QVC's Spring Fashion Week programming; a fashion spread in Marie Claire and a position at the magazine as Contributing Editor for one year among other prizes.

The season premiere is October 30 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
