Lasell Faculty Visit US Senator Kennedy

April 3, 2013

Lasell College faculty and staff recently visited the offices of recently elected US Senator Joe Kennedy (D-MA) in Washington, D.C. to speak to him about the College and its goals related to grant funding and student loans.

During the visit, the faculty presented a drawing of the Yamawaki academic building by Lasell Art Professor Margo Lemieux, who donated the piece. Lemieux dedicated the piece "to the possibilities of faculty and student collaboration."

Pictured in the photo are: Dean for Undergraduate Education Steven Bloom, US Senator for Massachusetts Joe Kennedy, Joan Weiler Arnow '49 Professor Jill Carey, and Professor Dennis Frey, Jr.

President Alexander Responds to the Tragedy in Orlando  Thursday, June 16, 2016We the people of the United States cherish our freedoms. Whether it be the freedom to say what we want, to assemble in groups of our choosing, to follow the religions of our choice, to vote as our conscience demands, to own and carry weapons, to start new businesses and make money, and to move about as we please -- these are values we hold dear and are reluctant to compromise.
