June 25, 2013

Lasell College and its Center for Community Based Learning were both highlighted in a Nerd Scholar study that lists the top 10 most educated places in the country. Newton was listed #10.

The article chose the top 10 educated communities in the country based on:

The percent of residents who finished high school or have an associate's degree as their highest level of education.

The percent of residents who completed a bachelor's degree as their highest level of education.

The percent that completed a master's degree as their highest level of education.

And, the percent that completed a professional or doctoral degree.

The Nerd Scholar and Nerd Wallet websites provide a number of tools for students and parents to help them with the college selection process.
