Lasell’s Annual Connected Learning Symposium Begins Next Week

The Fall 2013 Connected Learning Symposium begins December 9 with a weeklong schedule of projects, presentations, performances, and displays showcasing students' work throughout the semester.

This semester students will present over 60 projects representing coursework from criminal justice to first year seminars. Projects range from mock trials to a first year seminar class on Italian culture and film to the dangers of "reality TV."

A full day showcase takes place December 10 in de Witt Hall with poster presentations rotating throughout the day and classroom presentations throughout the Winslow Academic Center.

The Connected Learning Symposium will also offer displays and presentations including:
• Vietnamese Water Puppets
• The Boston Theater Scene
• Orthopedic Assessment and Treatment Clinic
• A look at the "study" part of Study Abroad
• The Senior Graphic Design Portfolio
• Center for Community Based Learning
• Sustainable Fashion Show
• Chorus Concert in the Yamawaki Art and Cultural Center
