Fuss Center Hosts Speaker Series at Belmont Council on Aging

The Rosemary B. Fuss Center for Intergenerational Studies, in conjunction with the Belmont Council on Aging, has begun an intergenerational speaker series.

The speaker series, which features members of the Lasell community, will run through the spring and be held at the Beech Street Center in Belmont. Lasell Professor Dennis Frey opened the series with a talk on the politics and entertainment in Berlin between world wars.

The next talk "Petrouchka: the Ballet Russe: An informational presentation" is scheduled for February 1 at 1 pm at the center. Lasell Village resident Anne Wilson Wangh, a former soloist with the American Ballet Theater and founder of The Dance Library of Israel in Tel Aviv, will give the talk.

Other talks to be held this spring include a presentating by Lasell students in the College's Agining in America class and a talk by Joann Montepare, Director of the Fuss Center, about her research on "Reading Faces" in March.

The College will no longer require prospective students to submit SAT or ACT scores.
