Lasell College makes biodiesel for good cause: MyFoxBOSTON.com

Fox 25 News interviewed Lasell's Asst. Director of Plant Operations and Sustainability Marc Fournier about the College's program to turn used cooking oil into heating oil for local shelters on Thursday February 24.

The program, which began in the Fall of 2009, is a partnership between the College and Sodexo Food Services to recycle used cooking oil from the Valentine Dining Hall for use as heating oil by local shelters, including the Pine Street Inn in Boston. The oil is collected by Mass BioFuel, which converts the cooking oil into a heating oil blend for the shelter.
