Lasell Professors Melissa Van Hyfte and Dana Janbek are leading a group of Lasell students on the College's first service learning experience in the Amazon region of Brazil this week.

Ecotourism in Brazil is a one week on-the-ground, service-based experience. During their stay, students will take educational trips to learn about the region's ecosystem and visit local communities and non-government organizations that help sustain the economy of the Amazonian locals.

In efforts to communicate their exciting project, students and faculty have taken the time to create a digital travel journal recounting their experiences. Read the posts below from the ecotourism trip to the Amazon rainforest to learn about their nighttime spotting treks, view rainforest pictures, and more!
