Fashion Students Showcase Their Collections at Runway 2011

On Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at 6:30PM, Lasell College's Fashion Department will host its annual Senior Fashion Show on the College's Newton campus. Undergraduate designers will feature their designs on Friday April 29.

The runway show, in its 22nd year, is produced almost entirely by Lasell students and showcases student fashion design collections, as well as the work of merchandising and graphic design students.

In addition to featuring collections designed by graduating senior fashion design majors, the event will also will display portfolios by senior graphic design students as well as set design and construction, all created by students and their advisors. Doors will open at 5:45 PM.

Contributing to the authentic, professional quality of the fashion show, student models, dressers and hair and make-up assistants all work together as a team to ensure a high-level production.

The show features themed design collections from seniors on Saturday night. Underclassmen will show their design skills in multiple categories on Friday evening.
