Dean Bloom Gives O'Neill Talk

Steven Bloom, Lasell's Dean of Undergraduate Education and Professor of English, participated in a "Scholar Social" as part of a new production of Eugene O'Neill's A Moon for the Misbegotten at Central Square Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 28.

The event paired Bloom with Thomas Connolly, Professor of English at Suffolk University, as they led a discussion and dialogue about the play with the audience. Both Bloom and Connolly are members of the Eugene O'Neill Society, an organization devoted to the promotion and study of the life and works of Eugene O'Neil.

The Nora Theatre Company's production of A Moon for the Misbegotten is directed by Richard McElvain and features starring roles from Ramona Lisa Alexander, Will McGarrahan and Billy Meleady. An additional performance has been added for November 3 at 7:30 PM.
