College Launches “Educate Your Vote” Events

January 11, 2016

As part of the College's Presidential Speaker Series, this spring the events will focus attention on the key issues facing voters in the 2016 Presidential Election with presenters ranging from Congressmen Joe Kennedy and Jim McGovern, to Associate Dean for Educational Programs at Harvard School of Public Health, Nancy Kane. The series is free and open to the public.

Each presentation in the series, which begins January 21, will address a specific topic important to voters in this election cycle, ranging from healthcare policy and the economy, to education and the environment.

The Educate Your Vote events begin this month with Dr. Nancy Kane, Associate Dean for Educational Programs at Harvard School of Public Health, who will discuss the Affordable Care Act of 2010, how it is working and its future following the 2016 elections.
