Assistant Athletic Trainer
Lasell College, a NCAA Division III institution located in Newton, MA is seeking applications for an Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time, ten month position with full benefits, housed in the Department of Athletics and reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer.
The Assistant Athletic Trainer will collaborate with her/his colleagues to: provide comprehensive athletic training services, and strength training programs for seventeen NCAA Division III varsity sports; assist with day to day operations of the athletic training room; and serve as an approved clinical preceptor for the College's academic, Athletic Training baccalaureate degree program.
Minimum qualifications include: a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, or a related field, from a CAAHEP/CAATE accredited athletic training program; certification in good standing through the BOC for at least two years; licensure to practice athletic training in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or eligible); CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; and First Aid certifications. Preferred qualifications include: master's degree in a related field; a minimum of three years of experience in college athletics; NASM or CSCS certification; and instructor certification in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid.
