Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment

Lasell College located in Newton, Massachusetts invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment. Lasell College, an innovator in education for over 150 years, is a comprehensive coeducational college with an enrollment of 2000 students offering professionally-oriented bachelor's and master's degree programs. Our 53-acre campus is located in suburban Newton, Massachusetts, within eight miles of downtown Boston.

 Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment

The Office of Graduate Enrollment is seeking a highly motivated professional who is energetic, creative, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  This position will report to the Director of Graduate Enrollment.

 Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment will assist in and be responsible for all aspects of the graduate admission and enrollment processes including, but not limited to:

  • Providing a high level of personalized service to inquiries, applicants, and continuing students via phone, email, and in person
  • Proactively engaging students during the enrollment process through to program completion
  • Assisting prospective/returning graduate students with the enrollment processes including financial aid, student accounts, and registration
  • Acting as a liaison between graduate students and other college departments including the Offices of the Registrar, Graduate Student Services, Student Accounts, and Student Financial Planning.
  • Initiating and managing select recruitment/marketing activities to grow graduate program enrollment
  • Providing information sessions and webinars
  • Interviewing candidates
  • Conducting thorough follow-up and review of graduate applications and providing decisions in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • At least 2 years of admissions experience preferably with adult learners
  • Strong professional writing and public speaking skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated approach to achieving results
  • Good working knowledge of database management and MS Office
  • Evening and weekend hours required
  • Occasional travel required
  • Must have a car and a valid driver's license
