Head Coach, Women's Volleyball

Lasell College, located in Newton, MA, is seeking applications for the position of Head Coach, Women's Volleyball. This is a part-time position housed in the Department of Athletics and reporting to the Director of Athletics.

Lasell College is a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the NCAA Division III. Lasell College's 50-acre campus is located in Newton, MA, a community located ten miles west of Boston. The co-educational institution, offering professionally oriented baccalaureate and master's degree programs, has an enrollment of 1700 full-time undergraduate students. 

The Head Coach will direct all facets of a competitive NCAA Division III women's volleyball program with a special emphasis on recruitment of appropriate student-athletes. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: practice and game preparation; budgeting; academic support; fundraising for spring training trip; supervision of assistant coach(es); and insuring the general welfare and the development of the student-athlete. It is required that the candidate must have a complete understanding of all NCAA Division III philosophies and regulations, and will adhere to these at all times. Regular day, evening and weekend hours are required.

Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred. Knowledge and compliance with NCAA Division III rules required. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the developmental education of student-athletes, a strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to interact professionally within the Athletic Department and throughout the College community. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
