Adjunct Faculty- Writing

The Lasell College Writing Department is seeking instructors to teach one or more sections of ENG 101 Writing I for the fall 2017 semester.

Sections that are available:

  • Tuesday/Thursday 8-9:15
  • Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-10:45
  • Tuesday/Thursday 3:30-6:00

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning
  • Align some course assignments with departmental and college core curriculum learning goals and provide student work samples for college assessment purposes
  • Incorporate Moodle (learning management system) into the course
  • Maintain office hours each week
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and complete mid-semester and final grade reports

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in composition and rhetoric or a relevant field and experience teaching college-level writing.
