Small Business Institute at Lasell College and the Marketing/Management Department in collaboration with the Newton/Needham Chamber of commerce will hold a Small Business Event: The Dynamics of Small Business in a Changing Environment: Failures, Success, and Opportunities.

Join us as we present a symposium to commemorate Small Business Month. "The Dynamics of Small Business in a Changing Environment" will be a celebration of the small businesses in our market and a look at the challenges, success, and opportunities ahead. This event is a kick-off to several Small Business Month events.

This event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served with opportunities for networking before and after the formal program. Advanced reservation is required - please RSVP to sbi@lasell.edu.

Event featuring:

Dr. Paul Levy: author, speaker, blogger, and corporate advisor. Served as President and CEO of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Executive Dean for Administration at Harvard Medical School, and Executive Director of Massachusetts Water Resources Authority.

Darryl Settles: newly elected Chairman of the Economic Development Commission in Newton. President of D'Ventures Limited, LLC, a business consulting and investment company based in Boston.

Students from Lasell College: will be presenting two connected learning projects in entrepreneurship, hospitality, and marketing developed in the spring semester.
