Health Education

Health Education is an exciting and important part of Lasell College. The Office of Health Education specializes in wellness programs and resources for Lasell College undergraduate students around the topics of: sexual health and safety, healthy relationships, intimate partner violence prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, and mental health and wellness.

The mission of the Office of Health Education is to educate, encourage informed and positive decision making, and promote lifelong learning for students through peer education and wellness programming. The Office of Health Education offers a variety of programs including interactive peer-led programming, health and wellness awareness campaigns, and campus-wide events.

Some past Health Education programs include:

  • Fresh Check Day (suicide prevention and mental health fair)
  • The Vagina Monologues
  • Stress Free Fair
  • Therapy Dogs
  • National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week activities
  • The Clothesline Project

Through the Office of Health Education is the Peer Health Education program, created to foster peer leadership and education around issues related to health and wellness. Peer Health Education offers the opportunity to get involved in health promotion and be a leader in the Lasell community. Want to get involved? Check out our brochure to learn more!
