SPORTS SCIENCE

These fields of study focus on a scientific understanding of human performance, fitness and conditioning. Exercise is utilized as a preventative and rehabilitative tool. Strategies for health enhancement, education and training of clients/patients are developed in clinical and lab experiences. In the physical education major there is a focus on development of effective pedagogical skills. Career opportunities are found in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, fitness centers, research organizations, schools, and athletic and recreational programs.

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
