This field of study focuses on the diverse ways in which people have communicated ideas about arts and human relations. The exploration of the connections among the disciplines of English, History, Communication, Art History, Music, Drama, Philosophy and Languages is emphasized. Development of knowledge and skills in research, analysis, communications and writing are fostered. These abilities are applicable in any profession where communication is central to it activities. Preparation for teaching is supported through an elementary education concentration. Career opportunities are found in business, arts, media, social services, and non-profit organizations.

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
