| This field of study focuses on the development of the style concept, selection of textiles to bring forth the concept and the production of the garment. Creative and artistic skills are fostered in studio classes, material knowledge is gathered in textile courses and extensive practice and instruction are provided in production. CAD/CAM computer technology is also introduced. Career options are found with designers, manufacturers, costume and wardrobe collections, retail stores and fashion media. |
