The Accounting curriculum offers students a strong background in specialized accounting skills and exposure to a complete range of business functions.  Students develop the financial knowledge and analytical skills necessary in understanding the various components of business organizations and the role of accounting within them.  The Accounting major provides a flexible program of study relevant to all areas of accounting, with a strong emphasis on practical accounting work.  Federal Taxation, a course highly recommended and taken by virtually all majors, includes a service-learning component. Elective courses and internship experience allow the student to concetrate on specific career intrerests and needs.  The program provides a basic background for several professional examinations.  Graduates receive a Bachelor os Scince degree in Accounting.

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
