Torchlight Parade and Senior Soiree

Held commencement week, seniors and underclassmen march to the Crow’s Nest, a rustic structure built in a Lasell tree in the 1890s and a center for class activities and photographs, especially at graduation time. There the graduating class passes off torches to rising seniors in this cherished tradition that dates back to the 1800s.

Class Banners

A Class tradition since the first graduating class in 1854. Early banners were usually shields in red, white, and blue with a class motto. Today, the banners make a colorful display at graduation time for those classes holding reunions.
