Lasell College

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

The Commencement ceremony will be held on Taylor Field Sunday, May 15, 2016, beginning at 11 a.m. The ceremony will run for approximately 2.5 hours.

All graduates who are participating in Commencement should meet in the Athletic Center on the day of Commencement no later than 9:30 a.m. During this time graduates will line up in preparation for the ceremony. Students should not bring handbags or personal items as there is no way to secure the line up room during the ceremony.

There is no limit to the number of people each graduate student may bring to Commencement, and tickets are not required. Seating is on a first-come first-served basis.

You should plan to attend the entire ceremony. Graduate students sit in the front of the tent, right before the dais where the Lasell President, invited speakers, faculty and staff are seated. Graduate students diplomas are awarded first followed by undergraduates. In respect to the entire Lasell community, students are asked to remain in their seats until the final diplomas are awarded and the recessional begins.
