Mission Statement: The club strives to bring awareness to Newton's sister city in San Juan Del Sur through a variety of events and activities. All are welcome to be involved and all are encouraged to apply to go on the service learning trip during spring break each year.

Highlights/Achievements: Spearheading the Buy a Brick Fundraiser this year! A benefit concert is projected for the spring!

Major Projects/Productions: Raised money to donate toward building another school!

Lasell's Nicaragua Shoulder to Shoulder students visited the village of Cebadilla to help make bricks that were used to build their new preschool in March 2010.

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
