2007 Cross Country Preview
Head coach Larry Sullivan predicts a very competitive 2007 season as the Men's Cross Country team finished off a successful 2006 campaign as runners-up to Castleton State College in the N.A.C. Championship Meet. The Women's squad is coming off a successful rebuilding year in 2006. Coach Sullivan reports that, " Both the Men's and Women's squads are returning solid veteran runners and welcoming talented newcomers. I believe both teams are going to have fine seasons in 2007."

2007 Season Cross Country Wrap-Up
It was a very good year for the men’s and women’s cross country teams.  Junior Kayla McKenna (Warwick, RI) finished seventh in the GNAC Championship meet which earned her a spot on the GNAC All-Conference team.  McKenna also ran a personal best at the NCAA regional meet as she finished with a 24:47 time in the 6K race.  Overall the women’s team had a good year with four top ten finishes as a team and strong numbers all season.  The women finished 5th overall in the GNAC Championship meet.  They are a young team with nobody graduating this season

The men’s team also finished 5th overall int he GNAC Championship meet and will graduate both Andrew Gundlach (Jaffrey, NH) and Kevin Lawson (Holyoke, MA). Gundlach has been a consistent scorer throughout his four year career. Head coach Larry Sullivan states, “The attitude he brought to each practice and competition and his strong leadership were major factors in the men's team's successes.”  Among the season highlights were in the men's NCAA regional meet, freshman Kris McCabe (Kingston, NY) ran a personal best, finishing the 8K race with a 28:20 time.

Senior Kevin Lawson is also capping off a fine four year cross country career.  Kevin was a regular scorer and a contributor to the men's team successes both on and off the field. Some of Kevin's best performances came on the big stage at the NCAA Regional meets.

2006 Season Women's Cross Country Wrap-Up
Throughout the regular season, the women’s cross country team had strong finishes in the 2006 season at the Saint Invitational (3rd place), the Smith College meet (4th) and the Rivier Invitational where they placed 6th.  They completed their NAC season placing fourth in the NAC Championship meet.  Sophomore runner Kayla McKenna (Warwick, RI) was named to the All-NAC First team this season after finishing 5th in the NAC Championship.  McKenna finished in the top 10 three times this season which included seven regular season meets along with the NAC Championships and the NCAA regional meet.

2006 Season Men's Cross Country Wrap-Up
Under head coach Larry Sullivan, the men’s cross country capped off a great year by placing second overall in the NAC Championship.  They had also placed second in both the Rivier Invitational and the Saints Invitational during the regular season.  Junior runner Andrew Gundlach (Jaffrey, NH), senior Greg Lauranzano (Beverly, MA), sophomore Chris Johnson (Gloucester, MA) and rookie David Walsh (Springfield, MA) all earned a spot on the All-NAC Second Team and ran well all season.  The team will graduate Steve Yankopolous (Londonderry, NH) along with Lauranzano and should return a strong core of runners for next fall.
