He holds the NSCAA Advanced Regional and State Goalkeeper Diplomas. He plans to wed fiancée Kelly in August, 2007.

2007 Review
After a slow start to the season, the Lasers finished with a 10-8 record and an appearance in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference semi-finals.  This was the first year of competition in the GNAC for Lasell, and they more than held their own with a 9-2 GNAC record.  Junior forward Zach Gagne (Somerset, MA) led the Lasers in scoring with 13 goals, along with two assists and was named to the GNAC All-Conference first team.  Senior midfielder Brian Whelan (Weymouth, MA) capped off an impressive career with three goals and seven assists which earned him a spot on the GNAC All-Conference second team.  Fellow senior forward Tim Brennan (Raymond, NH) netted three goals and added one assist in his final year for the Lasers.  In the net, starting sophomore goalkeeper Julian Dutton (Madison, CT) finished the year with 115 saves and a 9-8 record and earned a spot on the GNAC All-Tournament team along with rookie defender Brandon Hanss (Halifax, MA).

The Lasers will graduate seven seniors in 2007.  Along with the offense of Whelan and Brennan, Lasell will lose forward Bol Anyoun (Arlington, MA), and defenders Mike Welch (Raymond, NH), Ryan Shaughnessy (Wrentham, MA) and Mike Chagnon (Leominster, MA) in addition to goalkeeper Eddie DeGurski (Medford, MA).
