New PMBA Degree Puts Careers in Motion

New Program Prepares Students for Today's Competitive Knowledge-based Economy

Graduates (L to R) Sean Suslowicz, Rachel Walsh, Florecita Mejia, and Christopher Gray

In today's competitive, knowledge-based economy, Lasell can help put careers in motion. As it did for the first cohort of graduates in the College's new Professional Master's in Business Administration (PMBA) degree program. Lasell began offering the PMBA degree, designed exclusively for working professionals, in the fall of 2014. The 100% online program "explores aspects of leadership in a global, changing world including a focus on marketing, economics and entrepreneurship," Joan Dolomore, dean of Graduate Programs and Professional Studies, tells Leaves. The innovative degree program is structured to be completed in 16 months. The first cohort of PMBA students completed their degrees in December, 2015. Leaves caught up with the quartet of newly-minted master's degree holders (shown here) about their experience.
