Activities you are or have been involved in (clubs, activities, athletics, etc.):
I am on the Rugby team and participate in Relay for Life and the annual Torch Light Parade.

Any internship you may have done or are looking to do?
I have interned for Baseball Youth Summer Tour (representing Zepp) and worked for the Boston Red Sox.

What did you choose Lasell?
I chose to come to Lasell based on the great opportunities I saw myself gaining from its location and the internship opportunities the school offers. The friendly staff and community feel made it a top choice on my college list.

What is your favorite Connected Learning project/experience so far?
My favorite Connected Learning experience so far was when we had a non-profit organization come into our marketing class in need of new flyers and newsletters with intentions of gaining attendance at their events. We completely redesigned their marketing scheme and then as a class presented them with our ideas. They took our input and offered students and internship opportunity.

Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
My favorite class that I’ve taken at Lasell has to be marketing. The skills I learned in that class helped me out during my internship. The class also brought in outside organizations for us to work with and really emphasized Lasell’s connected learning philosophy.

What is your favorite Lasell event or tradition?

Marathon Monday is one of my favorite events at Lasell. I enjoy waking up really early to watch the runners of the Boston Marathon. Our campus even has their own DJ in the Arnow Campus Center Quad.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
The quad between Buttersworth Hall and Bragdon Hall is my favorite spot on campus because it’s a huge social spot to play games and meet new people. During the winter you can have a snowball fight and when the weather is nice you can throw a football around.

What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
I like to experience Boston's many sports teams. Going to Fenway Park is memorable every time but I also like to try out the many food places around the city as well.

Give an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share with your peers or a tour.
A great memory that I’ve had at Lasell is participating in Relay for Life. I was a part of the Rugby team and we have a few mothers who have been battling cancer and to see all of my best friends come together for a great cause we extremely memorable.
