What was it that brought you to Lasell?
The three main reasons I decided to come to Lasell College was the great and friendly staff that I met. They are always eager to help you out with anything you may need. The location to Boston is also great as well. It opens up many internship opportunities and the school gives great discounted tickets to the professional sports teams in Boston. Another reason I came to Lasell was because of all the opportunities to get involved on campus. The college offers many fun clubs and activities.
What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
The quad between Buttersworth Hall and Bragdon Hall is my favorite spot on campus because it’s a huge social spot to play games and meet new people. During the winter you can have a snowball fight and when the weather is nice you can throw a football around.
Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
My favorite class that I’ve taken at Lasell has to be marketing. The skills I learned in that class helped me out during my internship. The class also brought in outside organizations for us to work with and really emphasized Lasell’s connected learning philosophy.
What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
Off campus I really enjoy going to the Bruins and Celtics games. Lasell offers discounted tickets that are a steal compared to the retail prices. Also, going into Quincy Market for dinner is really fun and clam chowder is a must while down there.
Give an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share with your peers or a tour.
When my group was selected to present during the symposium was a great memory. I had to present on stage to a crowd of people and talk about my marketing project. This was my favorite memory because I feel this is a unique experience at and I would not have had this opportunity if I went somewhere else.
