What was it that brought you to Lasell?
The small class size, beautiful campus, and connected learning philosophy brought me to Lasell!
What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is the Valentine Dining Hall. It’s a great place to meet up with friends and socialize as well as grab a bite to eat.
Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
Financial accounting was my favorite class I’ve taken at Lasell so far. Professor Fredericks made the class much more enjoyable with monopoly Fridays. Every Friday, we brought monopoly to class, each turn recording any transaction involving money. It allowed me to get a better grasp on the concepts in financial accounting rather than working from a text book. Not only that, but Professor Fredericks brought in bagels!
What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
On campus I love to just hang out with friends in the Van Winkle Quad when its sunny out or go to the New England Aquarium in Boston where I have a membership.
Give an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share with your peers or a tour.
Before I came to Lasell I had another college that I thought would be a great fit. It wasn’t until I stepped onto campus that I had that “Ah ha!” moment when I realized this was where I wanted to live the next 4 years. The campus and amount of student activities, along with the friendly students made me choose Lasell.
