Activities you are or have been involved in (clubs, activities, athletics, etc.):
I'm a member of the women’s soccer team, the 2016 Class Committee, Student Government Association, Peer Health, Fashion Connections Club, and Hope for Humanity.

Any internship you may have done or are looking to do?
I have interned at Vows Bridal Outlet and Wayfair-Joss & Main.

Why did you choose Lasell?
I chose Lasell because of the small class sizes, the community feel, the 'best of both worlds' location, its proximity to Boston, the fashion department, and strong Internship program.

What is your favorite Connected Learning project/experience so far?
My junior year, I took a visual merchandising class. One of our class projects was to design the window displays for the GoodWill store in Boston. It was an amazing opportunity to volunteer our time to the organization, while simultaneously learning relevant information and gaining industry experience.

What is your favorite Lasell event or tradition?
I love midnight breakfast. I have had the experience of working it first hand due to my association with the Student Government Association. It is such a hectic event in the dining hall, but it is so much fun! There’s so much high energy, and no one is focusing about his or her upcoming finals. Everyone is just so happy to be with friends eating breakfast food at midnight.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is the athletic fields - both Taylor and Grellier. As an athlete, they are two spots where I spend much of my time with my teammates, but the fields are also where I can watch other sports teams.

What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
I’ve recently developed a love for kayaking on the Charles River. I was afraid of falling in the river my freshman year, so the first time I went was my sophomore year. I didn’t go back until the end of my junior year, and now I am obsessed with it! It’s such a relaxing outdoors activity that you can do with your friends or by yourself. I’m down on the river several times a month now!

Give an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share with your peers or a tour.
Lasell was the first college that I toured during my college search. I knew that day that it was where I wanted to go, but my mom encouraged me to keep an open mind and look at other schools. I continued to tour other places, but none of them compared to Lasell. It’s been a great feeling to know that Lasell has always felt like home for me.
