Activities you are or have been involved in (clubs, activities, athletics, etc.):

Any internship you may have done, or are looking to do:
I would love to intern anywhere in the fashion industry, preferably at a fashion PR firm or fashion magazine.

What was it that brought you to Lasell?
What brought me to Lasell, first and foremost was the outstanding fashion department and new Fashion Communications major, but a close second were the smaller, more intimate class sizes.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
One of my favorite spots on campus is the cafeteria- not just because of the food! To me the cafeteria has turned into the place where my friends and I can all catch up and unwind from the day.

Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
My First Year Seminar class, Custom, Costume, and Culture, has so far been my favorite at Lasell. The course offered an anthropological look at fashion; what is considered beautiful or stylish from country to country. The required (and free!) trips to the Museum of Fine Arts for homework assignments allowed me to experience everything I was learning about in class first hand.

What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
Walking around Boston is one of the best things a I think college student can do for fun. The T is cheap and accessible, and whether you go shopping or just sit in Boston Commons for the afternoon you won’t regret the trip.

Give an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share with your peers or a tour.
My sister was a member of the Lasell College class of 2011, and in my search for the right college I didn’t consider Lasell because I thought of it as “her school”.  Thankfully, she kept insisting I visit the school and I agreed to. As soon as I walked onto the campus the neighborhood atmosphere made me feel right at home, and after attending the fashion department presentation, describing all of the opportunities awaiting students, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere but Lasell. I don’t know where I would be today had I not visited the school, but I definitely owe my sister big time!
