"Journalism with Professor Franklin was such an interesting class. Professor Franklin was an editor at the Boston Globe and has a lot of experience in the world of journalism. Our class took a field trip to the Globe and gave us a tour of each of the departments. In the classroom, she would show us what it was really like to be a journalist, putting pressure on us to write concrete, interesting articles in a short amount of time. Although it was a very difficult class, I learned a great deal about working as an actual journalist."

"Lasell is in a very safe suburban town, but it's also really close to the city. I have friends at schools all over the city, and it is easy go into Boston for the day and visit any of them."

Hector Iweka, Ph.D.Assistant Professor of MarketingDr. Iweka holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a concentration in General Business and an MBA in Marketing. He has over 15 years leadership and management experience in different sectors of international economy, including the United Kingdom, France and the United States.

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
