Activities you are or have been involved in (clubs, activities, athletics, etc.):
I am President of Hope for Humanity, an Alternative Spring Break participant and leader, Resident Assistant for North Hall, an English tutor, and a member of Tomorrows Teachers.

Any internship you may have done or are looking to do?
I did a semester of student teaching at Urban Science Academy in West Roxbury. I also did my pre-practicum in South Boston at the Boys and Girls Club.

Why did you choose Lasell?
I mainly chose Lasell because it made me feel at home. The moment I stepped on campus I knew the small community and the close proximity to Boston was definitely going to give me best of both worlds! I also knew Lasell had so many opportunities for me to get involved that I was able to start right away as a freshman.

What is your favorite Connected Learning project/experience so far?
I’m taking an Education course on Cultural Competence this semester and I actually get to go to Antigua in Jaunary 2016 to teach and put what I learned in that class to test.

Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
Young Adult Literature. At times the class had an intense work load but I loved every second of it. Even though it was open to any major, it really benefited my other education classes and helped me tie them all together,

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
The CCBL! I love being involved with the CCBL because of the service opportunities and I just love stopping by on my way to class to say hello to everyone and catch up on upcoming events!

What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
I love going into Boston on the weekends and doing fun activities around the city like farmers markets, movies, and the aquarium!

Give an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share with your peers or a tour.
My freshman year I was eager to get involved so I signed up for everything! So I was lucky enough to be a part the Alternative Spring Break program and got to New Mexico! The trip has always been extremely important to me because it really molded what my years at Lasell would look like - especially since I eventually lead a trip myself my junior year due to how much I was inspired!
