Major: Accounting
Minor: Mathematics
Class of 2011

Activities on Campus: First year Seminar Co-Facilitator, Accounting Tutor.

"True to form, my favorite class so far has been Financial Accounting. It is basically the introductory class to my major but when you take it with Professor Frederics, it's so much more. I clearly enjoy learning about accounting and the different methods but the best part about the class was playing Monopoly. Every Friday morning we would get into our groups and play Monopoly and during the game we would make journal entries according to the different transactions we made (paying/collecting rent, buying property, receiving Free Parking, etc.). After, we'd compile all of those activities we completed in a "fiscal year" and make them into a year end report for the made up business. It was a lot of fun to see the real application of all that we had learned."

"Newbury Street or the Natick Mall are definitely the go-to spot for my friends and I off campus. Forever 21 is a weekly trip but going into Boston and going to Newbury Street is always bank-breaking but so much fun."
